I hate to talk about the weather BUT I’m so ready for fall fam. Only a couple weeks left of this miserable summer and we’re on our way to pumpkin town. Honestly though, when did we loose our way? The pumpkin lobby is the modern illuminati and they’re slowly taking over everything! (Did anyone see the episode of Portlandia with the skit about the celery? So funny!)
Anyway, I love fall and fall flavors just as much as the next guy but it’s EVERYWHERE!! Cereal, candy, drinks, laundry soap, I mean EVERYTHING! Now, I know you’re probably thinking, why I went there with these cinnamon rolls but let me tall ya… there’s a place for pumpkin and it’s in or on bread. Am I right? Pumpkin pie… duh, pumpkin cinnamon rolls, obvi! Guys, this is where pumpkin belongs!
These easy cinnamon rolls are everything! I used grands crescent rolls as the dough because a little shortcut never hurt anyone. 30 minutes later they’re done and sooooo good.
You just unroll the dough, make a pumpkin sugar mix and spread it on the dough. Roll it back up, cut it and bake. So simple and so delicious. These are a great day after Thanksgiving breakfast or Christmas morning breakfast. Fall’s just around the corner so the next couple recipes on the blog will be fall inspired. I want to get us ready for the cold weather and this recipe is going to do just that.
