I know it’s been a while. It’s been a whirlwind around here. Logan is out of school so that means we had all the end of year festivities and such. Honestly guys, summer totally snuck up on me and I was soooo not ready. When I came to and realized summer was upon us, I quickly devised a summer plan because I was about to have house full of kids and no plan. So of course I turned to the all mighty Pinterest to help me find a realistic summer schedule to use as a guide. We also made a bucket list of things we want to do this summer and I’m actually really excited to get after it. So week one down and I think it might work out! This week we went to our local trampoline park and crafted a fathers day gift.
So Chocolate Chip Banana Bread. Let me tell you, this is THE perfect recipe. You can end your search here! It’s moist, has great banana flavor and is loaded with chocolate chips! I mean, what else do you need in banana bread?!?!? I’ve made this recipe more often than not. Everyone in the house loves it and in my house that says a ton because my kids are THE most finicky eaters out there. As I’m sure the story goes in most households, we buy a bunch of bananas and there’s always one or two that get spotty and brown and no one wants to eat them. Most people will throw them out, you know what I do? I put those babies in the freezer whole! With the peel and all. I know you probably think I’m a crazy person but hear me out! Once I have a decent stockpile (between 6-8 naners) I defrost them and they slip right out the peel and are perfect for this recipe!
I promise you’ll love this one guys. Have a slice warm with butter and make French toast with the leftover (if you have any). I’ve made little loves in disposable pans and given them as gifts during the holidays and such. I hope you enjoy it guys!
