Spring has sprung and I don’t think I’m ready. I’m always talking about the weather because it’s always so drastic! Last week it was nice and fresh and this one has already been all over the place. But before it gets too out of control here I’m going to make the best out of it and crank that oven because once the summer hits lets be honest, turning on that oven is going to be a drag!
I used to make scones for a living. Only sweet scones though. I decided to make some savory sones that would be perfect with a bowl of soup or a salad. And not to blow smoke up my own ass but these came out too good guys!! They’re flaky, buttery and light. I had to stop myself from eating these up because well… diet. 🙂 This is a great scone to take to a pot luck (I would cut then smaller for larger crowds though) or party. You can make the dough ahead of time and bake them the day you need. These would also be great for breakfast. You can change up the flavor if you like, just sub the exact measurement (Like, instead of feta you want goat cheese just sub out the exact amount). As always, let me know what you guys think! Enjoy!
